Design – V12 Spider fter 50 years
Retractable hard top:
- The RHT opens in just a 14 seconds at speed 45 km/p.
- Also, doesn’t impinge upon interior dimensions, And it’s maintaining the donot car’s room is cockpit.
- Additionally, electric rear screen, that acts for wind-stop, also make the car truly usable with its top down and top up.
- Also it can be open to allow occupants to continue to luxuriate in naturally-aspirated V12 unique soundtrack.
It’s buttresses:
- The 812 Superfast spider version car’s rear like luggage compartment, tonneau cover and roof has been design amazingly.
- It’s idea was to lend that car a new blend of balance and sleekness. Meanwhile, it’s roof movement mechanism is stowed.
- The buttresses designed to visual embody a sense of forward thrust and lend the side windows a signature look’s that set the spider apart from Berlinetta.
- When it’s top is dropped than the roof panels disappear beneath the aforementioned tonneau cover.
Flanks:
- The design of flanks visual shorten its tail and characterized sharply slanted crease lines.
- And it’s muscular whee-larches imbue it with aggression and power warranted by imposing V12.

Engine
- Type: V12
- 0-100 km/h: 3.0 seconds
- Specific output: 123 cv/1
- Maximum power: 800 cv
718 Nm of torque guarantees impressive acceleration virtually on par. The 812 Superfast heady 8900 rpm rev limit means that sporty driving’s undiminished. It’s shape of torque curve reveals distribution wasn’t sacrificed to boost power. 80% maximum torque’s available at just 3500 rpm, that’s improving both flexibility and pick up at lower revs.

Dynamics:
The aim’s developing 812 GTS to retain the exhilarating feeling of power and speed delivered by the Berlinetta version in terms of accelerating, agility and response times.
Control and handling systems:
- The Ferrari 812 GTS equipped with 812 Superfast’s control system and a new generation components that’s delivering amazing handling.
- It’s sport Electric Power Steering line with Ferrari tradition, Also used to fully exploit the potential of car in terms of performance by integrating it with electronic vehicle dynamics controls including 5.0 of Ferrari patented SSC.
High performance driver assistance features also featured with:
- Ferrari Peak Performance [FPP]: when it’s cornering the steering wheel torque will be provide the driver with indication so car is getting closer to its limit of grip, That’s also helping the control of dynamic state.
- Ferrari Power Over-steer [FPO]: Over-steer is most frequently induced when powering out of corners, And the steering wheel torque the driver feedback to give steering wheels input, which is coherent with realigning car’s correctly.
- Optimized calibration of the car: The magnetorheological dampers, it’s elastic set-up is same like Berlinetta version despite the 75kg increase in weight caused by strengthening work on the chassis.
- It’s overall performance level’s close to Berlinetta with 0-100 km/h acceleration in under 3 seconds and 0-200 km/h in just 8.5 seconds. Ferrari F152M RHT’s max speed is same as Berlinetta 340 km.h

V12 Spider Aerodynamics
Front side:
- Meticulously detailed work went into a guaranteeing excellent standard of comfort on-board with top down.
- It was huge focus on minimizing both turbulence inside it’s cabin and its aerodynamic noise ensure occupants could converse undisturbed at high speed.
- LaFerrari Aperta has two small L-shaped flaps on upper corners of the windscreen generate a coherent concentrated vortex that creatures out-wash in the velocity field immediately above the rear screen, thereby avoiding excess pressure behind occupant heads.
Rear side:
- Aerodynamically, 812 GTS posed two main challenges for Ferrari designers
- Guarantee performance same as the coupe version with top up and also at the same time, That maximum passenger comfort with roof down.
- In terms of pure aerodynamic performance, it’s retractable hard top and stowage compartment required that the rear of the car can be modified.
- Thanks to meticulous re-sculpting of tonneau cover surfaces and integration of a trip-lane wings into rear diffuses that’s to create efficient suction and down -force under-body.
- Also compensate for down-force lost by removal 812 Superfast rear wheel arch from duct, also the air intake which is behind quarter-light.

Heritage
- Exactly 50 years from the debut of last spider Ferrari range to sport a front-mounted V12.
- The GTS hail triumphant return for model type, That has played pivotal role in marque’s history since it is foundation.
